N-47-71-1S supercharger was successfully tested at Nevskiy Zavod

The supercharger is a part of GPA-4RM gas compression package produced by Saturn. It will be supplied to Kaluzhskoye underground gas storage to operate with GTD-4RM gas turbine engine with the efficiency of 32.5%.

Doosan will supply two waste heat boilers for combined cycle packages at Stavropolskaya GRES powerplant

E4 Group, the general contractor of turnkey construction of two combined cycle packages each rated at 400 MW, signed the agreement. According to the agreement Doosan will start to supply the waste heat boilers in October 2009 and finish the project till the end of 2011.

Project-engineering Center New Generation (part of Intertechelectro–New Generation) will carry out design works on modernisation (adding gas turbine) of Razdanskaya CHP power unit #5 (Armenia). The agreement was signed by Karen Sargsyan, the director of ArmRosgazprom Razdan-5 management, and Georgy Fedorin, the general director of Project-engineering Center New Generation.

ELSIB and Saturn: strategic partnership at the gas turbine market

ELSIB top managers visited NPO Saturn on August 20. The memorandum of strategic partnership concerning gas turbines rated at 110 MW produced by Saturn and generators rated at 110 MW produced by ELSIB was signed. The companies agreed on the working out a joint strategy of development till 2015 attracting foreign funds and entering the international market.

The assembly of basic equipment for a new power unit was started at Pervomayaskaya TETs-14 combined heat and power plant of TGK-1

The specialists of EMK-Engineering (part of Energostroyinvest-Holding, the general contractor on the construction of Pervomayskaya TETs-14 combined cycle plant) started the assembly of the first Pr-E-99.5/13.5-7.61/0.59-545/210 waste heat boiler of the first combined heat and power package rated at 180 MW. The waste heat boiler was developed and produced by Podolsk Machine Building Plant.

Uzhno-Khylchuuskoye field was commissioned

The field is one of the largest in the north of Timano-Pechorskaya oil and gas province. It is developed by Naryanmarneftegas (LUKOIL and ConocoPhillips joint venture). The first stage included 32 development wells, oil treatment plant, oil hydrogen sulfide cleaning system, storage plant with the capacity of 40,000 m3, power center with the capacity of 125 MW and some other objects.

A gas turbine powerplant will appear in Meleuz

According to the agreement between Bashkirenergo and Aviadvigatel (part of Perm Engine Building Plant) GTES-16PA gas turbine powerplant with the electric capacity of 80 Gcal/h and possibility of increasing up to 150 Gcal/h will be supplied to Meleuz (Bashkiria) for the constructed GTU-TETs gas turbine heat and power plant in 2009.

Saturn–Gas Turbines is the tender winner for supply of gas turbine equipment for GTES-24 powerplant at Dvurechenskoye field (Tomskneft)

The tender was held by Rosneft. To the terms of competition the equipment shall operate on casing head gas and meet technical requirements of tender documentation including the power, the quality of output power, reliability and warranty, safety requirements and environmental protection, etc.

The high-efficient cooling plant for binary ice formation

The cooling plant for binary ice formation (10% of liquid, 90% of ice) for cooling industry was designed by Salut designers in cooperation with Integral GmbH around AL-21 aircraft engine compressor. The plant was successfully tested and shipped to the customer in Europe.

The contract on production and supply of basic equipment for unit #2 of PGU-450 combined cycle package at Kaliningradskaya TETs-2 heat and power plant was signed

According to the agreement with Gazenergoprom (the supplier of main power equipment) Power Machines will produce and supply two GTE-160 gas turbines, T-150 steam turbine and three turbine generators each rated at 160 MW, supervise the installation and control commissioning and startup. The equipment will be supplied in the fourth quarter of 2009. The contract value is over 4 billion rubles (about 9 million euros).

Grodno Azot commissioned a gas turbine plant rated at 16 MW

Siemens supplied two SSC-300 cogeneration plants with SGT-300 gas turbine engines, two waste heat boilers, electrical equipment and automatic control system. SSC-300 is a small combined heat and power package with the nominal power of 7.9 MW and steam capacity of 19 ton/hour. The total efficiency of SSC-300 package is 90.3% exceeding the efficiency of the existing similar powerplants.

The gas turbine package rated at 25 MW was put into pilot operation at Lidskaya CHP (Belarus)

GTE-25/NK-830E gas turbine package produced by Kuznetsov SNTK with the electric power of 25 MW designed around NK-37 gas turbine is the second stage of the powerplant modernisation (the steam turbine rated at 12 MW was installed here in 2006).

Polzunov NPO TsKTI produced air intake for GTE-65 gas turbine to be installed at TETs-9 heat and power plant

Under the contract the specialists of TsKTI entering E4 Group finished design works and produced air intake for GTE-65 gas turbine (designed and produced by Power Machines) to be installed at Mosenergo TETs-9 heat and power plant (TGK-3).

Mosenergo and Siemens AG signed the agreements on equipment supply for construction of combined cycle packages at 4 heat and power plants

Under the agreement made in April 2008 between Mosenergo and Siemens and according to Mosenergo investment programme the contracts on power equipment supply to TETs-25 TETs-16, TETs-20 and TETs-12 heat and power plants were made.
