Intertechelectro will erect gas turbine powerplant at the Priobsky field (Rosneft)

The construction engineering company Intertechelectro (the assembly department of Interte-chelectro – New Generation) won the tender for a turn-key construction of the 315 MW powerplant for Yuganskneftegaz (the Rosneft subsidary) at the Priobsky field.

Technopromexport completed 72-hour tests of the new power unit at Mezhdunarodnaya TETs heat and power plant

According to the 72-hour test plan the new TETs power unit (the previous name is TETs MMDC Moscow-City) produced the design capacity in the city power grid. The power unit with the total electric capacity of 120 MW and thermal capacity of 205 Gcal/h will operate in a combined cycle.

On August 30, 2007 the power block # 1 of the PGU-325 combined cycle unit equipped with the gas turbines GTD-110 # 2 and GTD-110 # 3 manufactured by NPO Saturn successfully passed the integrated factory tests at Ivanovskiye PGU (Komsomol, Ivanovo region).

Power Machines completed manufacturing and testing of asynchronised turbine generators and excitation systems for the third power unit of TETs-27 heat and power plant (Mosenergo)

Asynchronised turbogenerators are rated at 160 MW. Being a source of power supply they compensate excessive reactive power in megalopolises and prevent a voltage increase above the ac-ceptable level.

Mosenergo carries out turbine expander tests

The 72-hour tests of two DGA-5000 turbine expander gensets were completed at TETs-23 heat and power plant (Mosenergo). The 6 MW gensets are manufactured by Krivorozhsky plant Energiya.

Renova Group and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) signed a contract for co-operation in power generation

The contract was signed on September 27, 2007. The scope of the contract includes manufac-turing of high power gas turbines (from 100 MW to 300 MW) and MHI technology steam turbines at the industrial site of Ural Turbine Works (the Renova Group subsidiary).

Intertechelectro – New Generation started the construction of combined cycle powerplant in Kurgan

The ceremonial beginning of the construction was held on September 26, 2007. The TETs-2 powerplant with the electric capacity of 222 MW and thermal capacity of 250 Gcal/h will resolve the challenges of energy shortfall for more than 40% in Kurgan region.
