The memorandum of intent was signed between the local authorities, Batys corporation, Gidromash-Orion investment company and ZhaiykMunay to realise the project of gas turbine plant construction in the north-east part of Uralsk.

Two compressor stations of SRTO (Northern districts of Tumen region) – Ural gas pipeline were commissioned at Oktyabrsky and Priozerny department

Gazprom transgaz Yugorsk commissioned GPA-Ts-16 gas compression packages rated at 16 MW with NK-16-16ST gas turbine (produced by KMPO) at SRTO-Ural gas pipeline. Four packages were commissioned at KTs-10 compressor room of Oktyabrsky department in November-December 2008; four packages were commissioned at Priozerny department.

PGU-52 combined cycle plant will operate at Yeletskaya heat and power plant. Two GTU-20S gas turbines produced by Salut underwent warm starts and individual testing.

The contract on a gas compression package supply was signed

The gas compression package will be supplied to Portovaya compressor station of Nord Stream pipeline. The contract was signed by Gazkomplektimpeks and Rolls-Royce.

Privodinskaya and Mikunskaya compressor stations were commissioned

Acceptance certificates for the first stages of both compressor stations at SRTO – Torzhok gas-main pipeline were signed in October 2008. Gazprom transgaz Ukhta is the operator.

ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA projected GTES-12 powerplant construction at Igolsko-Talovoye field

ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA is the general designer of the gas turbine plant further construction due to the programme on generating capacity increase at Tomskneft and the contract signed in June 2008. GTES-24 gas turbine power was the first stage of the generating facility construction at the field, it was commissioned in 2004.

Power Machines developed a new steam turbine

A new K-225-130-12.8-3R steam turbine with the nominal power of 225 MW was designed in Turbine design bureau of Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (Power Machines department). It is planned to install the prototype model at Kharanorskaya GRES powerplant (OGK-5).

Armenia plans to commission a new power unit at Erevanskaya thermal plant in March-April 2010

The agreement between the government of Armenia and JBIC (Japan Bank for International Cooperation) on obtaining of ¥26.4 billion credit (about $250 million) on the construction of the thermal plant was signed on September 30, 2007.

Package #10 for Kashaganskoye field oil and gas production facility (Kazakh sector of Caspian sea, 80 km from Atyrau was delivered to Agip KSO. The module was successfully launched at Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association site.

The construction of Capstone plant in Tutaev

The plant that will produce microturbines and power centers is constructed in Tutaev, Yaroslavl region. The construction is carried out to the technologies and based on the license agreements with Capstone, OPRA and others. It will be the first plant in Russia.

The contractor for the construction of PGU-180 combined cycle package at powerplant #1 within Tsentralnaya TETs powerplant of Saint-Petersburg was defined in TGK-1

TGK-1 and Gazenergoprom Corporation signed the agreement on modernisation of powerplant #1 entering Tsentralnaya TETs powerplant of Nevskiy department. The turnkey construction of combined cycle package with the electric power of 180 MW is provided by the contract. The equipment supplier is Power Machines.

Kirov-Energomash supplied power units for combined cycle plant in Schelkovo

The powerplant consists of two GTE-1.6 gas turbines with the electric power of 1.6 MW and heat capacity of 4 Gcal/h.

Sumy Frunze NPO shipped the equipment to Talakanskoye field

The equipment with the total value of $50 million will provide the operation of oil production facilities at Talakanskoye oil and gas condensate field, the largest field in Yakutia (Surgutneftegas).

OGK-3 issued a tender for Yuzhnouralskaya GRES-2 powerplant construction

The winner of an open one-stage tender without preliminary selection will make the EPC contract for turnkey construction of Uzhnouralskaya GRES-2 powerplant consisting of three combined cycle packages with the total capacity of 1200 MW.
