Motor Sich signs new contracts

Motor Sich signed a contract with Ukrtransgaz (Naftogaz Ukraine) for delivery of four new GPA-Ts-6,3 gas compressor units with D-336-2 engines

Two units will be delivered to Yagotin Compressor Station located 60 km south-west of Kiev and two units will be supplied to Kupyansk Compressor Station located 50 km west of Shebelinsky Gas Processing Works. They will be operated at the 5.5 MPa high-pressure pipelines.

The GPA-Ts-6,3 gas compressor units are designed by Motor Sich and equipped with the standard Sumy Frunze NPO N-196 superchargers. The units may be re-equipped for cogeneration. The commissioning of Kupyansk and Yagotin Compressor Stations is planned for 2007 and 2008 correspondingly.
