Siemens PG will supply equipment to Byelorussia
The contract for the construction of heat and power plant is valued at ? 10 million. Siemens PG will supply two packaged SSS-300 cogeneration plants with SGT-300 gas turbines, two HRSG, electric equipment and ACS.
The customer is Grodno Azot, the largest chemical enterprise in Byelorussia. The power plant will produce electricity and steam used in the company’s work process.
SSC-300 is a packaged small-scale CHP rated at 7.5 MW, it produces 19 tons of steam per an hour. The unit’s total efficiency is 90.3% that exceeds the efficiency of similar equipment. The commissioning is planned for the beginning of 2008.
