Kosmos-Neft-Gaz puts torque transducers into operation

In the second quarter of 2007 two industrial units of BIKM М-106М torque transducers de-signed for the GTK-10-4 gas compression package were manufactured by Voronezhsky plant for Severgazprom.

They will operate at KS-13 gas compressor station of Urdomskoye department.
Seven torque transducers were delivered to Kulsary, Inder, Beineu, Dzhangala and Makat compressor stations in Kazakhstan in June and July.
In the third quarter of the year the BIKM М-106М torque transducer operated at the GPA-Ts-16 compression package passed tests and was commissioned at Serpukhovskaya compressor station (Mostransgaz).
The company also designes torque transducers for test stands of the plants manufacturing and repairing gas turbines and their elements. In July 2007 tested BIKM torque transducers were trans-ferred to NIIturbokompressor (Kazan) and Nevsky Zavod (St. Petersburg). It was agreed to design the transducer measuring gas turbine shaft torque at test stand for Gazturboservis in Tyumen.
At present the BIKM torque transducers for GTK-10I gas compression package operated at Orenburgtransgaz compressor station are at the precommissioning stage. The commissioning is planned for the end of 2007.
