Intertechelectro – New Generation started construction of Priobskaya gas turbine powerplant on November 20, 2007

The plant is situated at the Priobskoye field (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra) developed by RN-Yuganskneftegas (the subsidiary company of NK Rosneft).

The turnkey construction of gas turbine powerplant is done by Intertechelectro engineering company, part of Intertechelectro – New Generation group. The contract was signed in October 2007. 315 MW powerplant will consist of seven power generating packages single rated at 45 MW. Siemens was chosen as an equipment supplier. SGT-800 gas turbines with 37% efficiency and NOx emission below 25 ppm comply with the highest environmental requirements. The new powerplant will operate on associated petroleum gas making the field production most efficiently. The first three power packages are to be commissioned in December 2008.
