Scherbinka powerplant will have higher rating
EnergoPromInvest and Technopromexport resigned the contract for the turnkey construction of Scherbinka combined cycle plant in October 2007.
The design electric capacity will be 370 MW; heat rating will be 380 Gcal/h. The project’s value is over 10 milliard roubles.
Under the contract terms Technopromexport is responsible for design, construction and assembling, delivery of equipment, adjustment and commissioning. The new powerplant will consist of two combined cycle packages each rated at 185 MW. The packages are designed around PG9171(E) gas-turbines (GE Energy) with the capacity of 123.4 MW each. The plant will also include an auxiliary building with two additional hot water boilers with the heat output of 200 Gcal/h.
The construction will be done in two stages. The primary equipment will be supplied on leasing scheme, like for Mezhdunarodnaya and Zvenigorod powerplants.
The new powerplant will supply electricity and heat to Scherbinka area, Yuzhnoye Butovo district and South-East of Moscow
