Technopromexport puts mobile gas turbine powerplants into operation at Pushkino and Rublevo 110 kW substations

Six mobile gas turbine powerplants were commissioned in October-November 2007.

The plants are designed to meet peak electricity demands and improve the electric power supply reliability in Moscow and its region in winter. The general contractor of the construction is Technopromexport.
The first two FT8 MOBILEPAC plants (Pratt & Whitney Power Systems) were commissioned on February 22, 2007 at Daryino 110 kW substation. 22.5 MW plants were equipped with BDAX 62-170 ER generators (Brush Electrical Machines, Ltd). Two similar plants were put into operation at Novosyrovo 110 kW substation on September 15, 2007.
The combustors are equipped with desalinated water injectors to reduce NOx emission below 25 ppm.
