Two power packages were installed at Stavropolskaya state district powerplant

The official ceremony was held on October 30, 2007 in Solnechnodolsk.

The framework of the OGK-2 investment programme includes the construction of two combined cycle power packages # 9 and # 10. The output is 400 MW each. The tender for the turn-key construction will be announced in 2008.
The single-shaft monoblock will consist of the gas turbine rated at 270...280 MW, the triple-pressure heat recovery boiler, the steam heat turbine rated at 130...150 MW and the 400 MW generator for gas and steam turbines.
Nowadays Stavropol Territory isn’t energy-deficient. The commissioning of the new power packages will faciliate the development of the region in the future.
