Tyumentransgaz is upgrading GPA-25/26 compression packages

Within the framework of Novokomsomolskaya compressor station upgrading three compressor halls equipped with GTN-25/76 gas compressors (Nevsky Zavod) will be updated.

The existing centrifugal compressor will be replaced by DN80L.1 (UGT 25000) marine gas turbines manufactured by Zorya-Mashproekt. The DN80L.1 marine gas turbine is designed to deliver 26.7 MW of electric power and efficiency of 36% at ISO 2314 conditions. Moreover SPCh 650 compressor bundles will be replaced by SPCh MAN Turbo N650-2.1 compressor bundles equipped with Burgmann dry gas-dynamic seals. The customer is Tyumentransgaz.
Each compressor hall contains three power units. The upgrading of the compressor hall # 7 (theYamburg-Tula 1 pipeline branch) was completed in 2002. The upgrading of the compressor hall # 6 on the Yamburg-Zapadnaya Granitsa pipeline started in October 2007. The commissioning is planned for 2008. The upgrading and commissioning of the compressor hall # 5 (the Yamburg-Elets 2 pipeline branch) are scheduled for 2008 and 2009 correspondingly.
The similar upgrading is carried out at Tayezhnaya compressor station. The upgrading of the compressor hall # 4 (theYamburg-Elets 1 pipeline branch)was completed in 2003. The compressor hall # 5 (the Yamburg-Elets 2 pipeline branch) was updated in 2004. The commissioning of the compressor hall # 6 (the Yamburg-Zapadnaya Granitsa pipeline) and the compressor hall # 7 (theYamburg-Tula 1 pipeline branch) is planned for 2009 and 2010 correspondingly. To sum it up, nine gas compressors are replaced at both compressor stations. Twelve gas compressors will be substituted.
