Mosenergo assembles the first gas turbine at TETs-21 heat and power plant

Mosenergo will build the power package #11 rated at 450 MW at TETs-21 heat and power plant.

It is considered to be the second combined-cycle power plant in Mosenergo. The company completed the construction of the first one at TETs-27 heat and power plant in November 2007.
The construction of the gas turbine package started in March 2006. The commissioning is planned for the first half of 2008.
The PGU-450T gas turbine package will consist of two GTE-160 gas turbines (Power Machines) each rated at 160 MW and 130 MW steam turbine.
The designer of the gas turbine package is Mosenergoproject institute. The general contractor is Mosenergospetsremont (the subsidary of Mosenergo).
At present Mosenergo is erecting combined-cycle power packages with the total capacity of 2000 MW
