The first power unit was commissioned at the Vatyeganskoye field

The simple cycle power plant rated at 72 MW includes three power units.

Each power unit consists of two EGES-12S gas turbine power packages supplied by Aviadvigatel.
Each package includes GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine, a gearbox (Kirov-Energomash Plant) and TS-12-2RUHL3 turbogenerator (Privod, Lysva, Perm region) rated at 12.36 MW. The gas turbine was designed by Aviadvigatel and manufactured by Perm Engine Company.
The gas turbine was designed around the gas generator of PS-90A aircraft engine of the fourth generation. Its efficiency is 33.7%. The compressor and gas turbine are equipped with an active radial clearance control system that enables the enhancement of the engine efficiency in different operating modes.
The power plant was designed by VNIIPIET Institute (Saint-Petersburg) by the order of LUKOIL-Zapadnaya Sibir. The plant operates on casing head gas transferred from Kogalymneftegaz fields.
