48 MW simple cycle gas turbine power plant will be constructed at the Talakanskoye field

In November, 2007 Sumy Frunze NPO and Surgutneftegaz signed a contract for delivery of three gas turbine power packages.

They will include NK-16ST gas turbines (KMPO) and T-16-2RUHL turbine generators rated at 16 MW (Privod). The power packages are designed for indoor operation.
The general designer of the power plant is SurgutNIPIneft Institute (the department of Surgutneftegaz).
The equipment delivery to the Talakanskoye field (Eastern Siberia) is planned for summer 2008.
The commissioning is sheduled for the first quarter of 2009.
