12 MW gas turbine power package was commissioned at Silvinit plant

The cogeneration powerplant includes two Ural-6000 gas turbines manufactured by Aviadvigatel and P-117 heat recovery steam generators produced by ZIOMAR Engineering.

The HRSG’s efficiency is 18.2 tons of steam per hour at 1.4MPa and 230 °C. The produced steam will be used at Silvinit plant in the process of potash fertiliser and Carnallite production. Carnallite is the raw material for Titanium produced at VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation subsidiary in Berezniky.
