The construction of Priobskaya simple cycle powerplant is carried out

The ceremonial beginning of the construction was held on November 20, 2007.

In September 2007 Rosneft announced a tender for the powerplant construction. The contract signed by Intertechelectro and RN-Yuganskneftegaz for the turn-key construction followed the tender. Rosneft and Siemens signed the contract for the delivery of primary equipment - seven SGT-800 gas turbines.
The project will be developed by DneprVNIPIenergoprom, Project Institute. The subcontractor is Promstroyservis.
Three power packages will be commissioned in the first and second quarter of 2009.
