The tender for the development of AL-31ST turbine vibration monitoring system was carried out

Ufimskoye Motorostroitelnoe Production Association (UMPO) announced the tender for the development of AL-31ST turbine vibration monitoring system.

Ten engineering companies participated in it.
The first stage of the tender included studying of applications. The second stage was held in the form of the Scientific Conference of leading participants. Vibro-Pribor and VAST (Saint-Petersburg) were named the winners. The testing of the AL-31ST turbine vibration monitoring system will be performed within UMPO gas turbine powerplant in the second quarter of 2008. UfaSistemaGaz (the UMPO subsidiary) will manufacture and deliver the whole control system.
