Bashkirenergo began the construction of TETs-5 heat and power plant with the electric capacity of 440 MW and heat capacity of 300 Gcal/h

The new heat and power plant will be installed in Ufa region not far from Zaton district. It is planned to install 2 PGU-220 combined cycle packages. The agreement with Power Machines on supply of turbine generator equipment was signed. Each package includes GTE-160 gas turbine produced by Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, T-60/75 steam turbine produced by Kaluga Turbine Plant. TZFG-160-2MUZ turbine generators for the gas turbine and TZFP-80-2 turbine generators for the steam turbine will be produced by Electrosila.
