Kaluga Sales Company and Dominanta Energy made an agreement on powerplant construction in Obninsk

The value of general contractor contract will be 879 million rubles. LM2500 gas turbine plant rated at 20.8 MW produced by General Electric will be used. The powerplant heat capacity will be 28 Gcal/h. The plant will include BDAX 7-167 ESS generator produced by Brush Electrical Machines Ltd, waste heat recovery boiler produced by UEMZ (Ukhta), LOOS UTM64 backup hot water boiler with the installed capacity of 18 MW, and exhaust stack. The equipment will be installed in the building with noise suppression system.
