The magazine has been published for a long time in Russian, and distributed in CIS countries, but the decision to enter the international market was influenced by reforms in the Russian power industry, in the oil and gas complex, and in housing and public utilities, as well as by the active developments in the gas turbine industry of Russia and Ukraine. The Russian domestic market already has a wide range of gas turbine models for power generation and mechanical drive. CIS powerplant engineering is entering the market with a full range of equipment and provides a number of competing products in certain power ranges. Most of these products may not be competitive in the traditional markets for international corporations from the USA, Japan, and EU countries, but Russian industry can offer equipment which is acceptable in developing countries. The main objective is to provide information to various English-speaking readers interested in promoting their products at the Russian market and looking for Russian manufacturers of power equipment.
GTT magazine studies the markets for energy equipment - the power industry, the oil and gas production and transmission industries, the housing and utilities infrastructure. We analyse the changing situation in these branches, both at the legislative level and in terms of business restructuring - mergers, acquisitions, cooperation agreements and diversification.
