GTES-12 gas turbine powerplant installed in Peredelkino

In addition to 12 MW of the electrical capacity, Peredelkino (Moscow) district heating system receives a thermal output of 24 Gcal/h.
The project was worth 130 million roubles (about $4.9 million).
Two NPO Saturn GTA-6RM power generation units with KUV-11.9/150 waste heat boilers were installed at the powerplant. The boilers were designed by ZIOMAR, a part of EMAlliance Holding.
Each power generation unit uses a Privod TK-6-2RU3 turbine generator. The engines are equipped with acoustic and thermal enclosures and powerplant emissions meet the environmental regulations. Similar cogeneration plants, each rated at 12 MW, are in operation in Penyagino, Kuryanovo and Zelenograd.
The GTA-6RM power unit is one of the best in its class on its technical and economic parameters.
By its results in 2005, the GTA-6RM unit became a prize winner in the «Production for industrial and technical purposes» nomination of the «100 best Russian products» competition receiving «Pride of the Country» status.
Last year Saturn established a new subsidiary company Saturn Gas Turbines which will manufacture industrial gas turbine generating units. |
