The GTE-25S gas turbine power plant has been commissioned at STIROL GROUP in Gorlovka (Ukraine)
The power plant reached the full output in November, 2006...
The GTE-25S produces 25 MW of electric power and 100 tons of steam (the pressure is 4.1 MPa and the temperature is 445°C) per hour in a cogeneration cycle. The cogeneration gas turbine power plant consists of a Zorya-Mashproekt DG80 (UGT 25000) gas turbine drive with a Privod (Lysva) T-25-2ZU3-G generator and a KUP-100 heat recovery steam generator, designed by Interenergo (Kharkov). The booster unit, rated at 400 kW with a 2GM10-14/10-33C reciprocating compressor, designed and manufactured by Sumy Frunze provides the fuel gas pressure increase from 1.2 up to 3.2 MPa.
The primary equipment of the GTE-25S power plant is located at the company’s reconstructed facilities. The electric power is supplied to Zavodskaya-3 electric power substation.
Stirol Group produces mineral fertilizers, ammonia, acids and pharmaceuticals. One more GTE-25S will be installed at the reconstructed site, due to the permanent increase of the energy price and the production prime cost reduction. The construction started in the second quarter of 2007. Energotechprom (Dnepropetrovsk) is the general designer of the GTE-25S for Stirol Group. |
