The new combined cycle plant was commissioned at Chepetsky Mekhanichesky Zavod
The official start-up was carried out on December 20, 2006 at TETs-1 powerplant (Glazov)...
The combined cycle plant substituted the five boilers which had been working for half a century. The new power plant will supply additional 30% of electric power to the enterprise and thus provide the independence from the city power grid. Besides, the city will be supplied with hot water.
The combined cycle plant consists of the Siemens SGT-600 (GT10B2) gas turbine, a Krasniy Kotelshchik TKU-14 heat recovery steam generator and a Toromont booster compressor station. The generated steam is delivered to the ATP-12 steam turbines manufactured by Kaluga Turbine Works.
The total electric output of the combined cycle plant is 36.1 MW, its thermal efficiency is 50.1%, and NOx emission is 25 ppm. Atomenergoproekt (St. Petersburg) is the general designer and the customer is TVEL-Invest. It is the first Russian plant designed for the industrial needs. |
