Perm Engine Company shipped eight GTU-12PB gas turbine engines

The GPA-12R2 Ural is a reconstructed GTK-10-4 gas compressor. Its GTK-10 engine rated at 10 MW with the efficiency of 29% produced by Nevsky Zavod since 1968 was replaced by the GTU-12PB engine with a higher output and efficiency. It was designed by Aviadvigatel around the gas generator of the PS-90A aircraft engine of the fourth generation. The nominal output of the GTU-12PB engine is 12 MW; its efficiency within the conditions of a station reaches 34%. Perm Engine Company has been manufacturing the engine since 1994.
