Energoauditcontrol signed a contract with Saturn
According to the contract signed in November 2006 Saturn became a complex contractor for a turnkey erection of the power project, rated at 64 MW at the Sugmutsk field (Sibneft-Noyabrskneftegaz)...
Saturn is the supplier, designer and constructor. Approximately 500 tons of the primary equipment are to be delivered apart from engineering structures.
The power plant will consist of eight GTA-8 power generating units. The fuel is associated petroleum gas and the units will be operated in simple cycle in base, midrange and peak modes. Later on the power plant will be equipped with two additional GTA-8 units. Each power block is equipped with a GTD-8RM gas turbine drive.
The GTA-8 genset is the last development around the converted D-30KU/KP aircraft engines manufactured at Saturn. Its nominal electric output is 8.56 MW; the peak output is 9.60 MW. The GTA-8 unit differs from the uniform GTA-6 in the pressure ratio which is 9.58. The absolute turbine inlet temperature was increased up to 1212K. Thanks to the sufficient degree of the original engine’s safety this increase didn’t result in any modification of the life-time parameters. The overhaul life of GTA-8 is 25,000 hours and its assigned life is 100,000 hours. |
