The EG-6000 powerplant started trial operation in Grodno (Belarus) Print E-mail

The EG-6000 powerplant started trial operation in Grodno (Belarus)
Republican Unitary Company Grodnoenergo signed a contract with primary equipment suppliers Motor Sich (Zaporozhye) and UkrPromEnergo in July, 2006. The power plant with the heat recovery steam generator was commissioned on the 28th of December, 2006...

The EG-6000 powerplant is to be operated in addition to the TG 3,5/6,3 R 12/1,2 steam-power unit rated at 3.5 MW at Severnaya heat and power plant (Grodnoenergo).
The primary equipment consists of the Motor-Sich EG-6000T-T10500-3VNM1UHL1 gas turbine power plant, the MKS-4.12-24GSE.01 fuel gas booster compressor station, manufactured by Borets (Moscow) and the KUP-12,5-1,4-280 heat recovery steam generator, designed and delivered by UkrPromEnergo (Kharkov). The heat recovery steam generator produces 12.5 t/h of the overheated steam under the pressure of 1.4 MPa and with the temperature of 280°C.
To improve the thermodynamic efficiency of the cycle the HRSG is equipped with the integral gas heater of the system water rated at 2.5 Gcal/h.
The EG-6000 power plant consists of the GTE-6,3/MS gas turbine engine (derived from D-336), the Privod TK-6-2RU3 electric generator and a P-6/MS reduction gear. The automatic process control system of the power plant was designed by Tyazhpromelectroproekt (Zaporozhye). A turnkey delivery of the automatic control systems for the booster compressor station’s power generation unit, gas turbine power plant and heat recovery steam generator was carried out by Simatek. Before shipping to the site the powerplant had passed the acceptance testing at the Motor Sich stand in the presence of the customer’s representatives.
The general designer of reconstruction is BelNIPIEnergoprom (Minsk); the general contractor is Tsentrenergomontazh (Minsk). The commissioning and start-up was carried out by Byelorussian Heat-and-power Engineering Institute (Minsk) and Lviv ORGRES.
