Gas compressor unit with DLE combustor was commissioned at Myshkinskaya compressor station
After 72-hour test completed in March 2007, one of the two GPA-Ts1-16L gas compressor units was put into commercial operation in compressor hall # 3-b. The second unit is still at pre-commissioning phase...
The units are equipped with AL-31ST gas turbine drives. These are sixth and seventh production models with DLE combustors manufactured by UMPO from 2004. The first five units were installed at Rzhevskaya compressor station on the Yamal-Europe Gas Pipeline. Emissions of NOx were reduced down to 40 ppm, i. e. by 30 ppm.
The AL-31ST drives were designed by NPO Saturn and tested on the stand of manufactures. The Sumy Frunze gas compressor units are equipped with GTs2-16L superchargers rated at 16 MW. Their volumetric capacity is 1.34x106 nm3/h. The second unit is to be commissioned in summer 2007. |
