New gas lift compressor station was commissioned in Turkmenistan

The customer is Turkmenneft. The Goturdepe oil and gas field is located on the Caspian Depression, 75 km west from Balkanabad.
The gas lift station includes eight Sumy Frunze NPO TKA-Ts-16/3,5-58 packaged units with the total capacity of 128 MW. It is the largest compressor station in Europe and Central Asia. Its volumetric capacity is 12 million ncm of natural gas a day with pressure of 5.6 MPa. All units are equipped with KMPO NK-16ST gas turbine drives.
The supercharger manufactured by Sumy Frunze NPO is connected to the drive via the step-up gear. The automatic process control system was manufactured by Continuous Control Solutions, Inc. (USA).
Sumy Frunze NPO carried out the turn-key construction of Goturdepe-2 compressor station. The general designer is VNIPItransgaz (Ukraine). The contractual works were accomplished by Balkanneftegazstroy trust (Turkmenneftegazstroy state concern). |
