The units are designed for operation within one powerplant which is constructed in the existing facility.
GTG-1500-2 is a power package consisting of the GTG-1500-2G gas turbine, planetary reduction gear and air-cooled GSB-1800-6,3-1500UHL2 synchronous generator manufactured by Novaya Sila (St. Petersburg). All primary components and auxiliary systems (oil system, monitoring, control, and protection systems) are arranged on one mounting frame. The GTG-1500-2G gas turbine operates on natural gas under pressure of 1.2 MPa. The backup fuel is diesel oil.
The automatic process control system was designed and supplied by Avtomatizirovannye Sistemy. The power unit can be started from 380 VAC supply with a rectifier unit or if necessary from a set of batteries. The starting time with 100% load increase is 2.5 minutes.
The powerplant can be operated independently or in parallel mode with a power system. The powerplant is constructed by Gazpromenergoservis. At present, one unit is in the on-load operation and another three are in support.
