The tender was organized by Botash (Turkish company) in July, 2006. According to the contract three GPA-Ts-16P/76-1,6M1 gas compressor units with Sumy Frunze 294 GTs 2-260/48-76M1 superchargers and Systema-Service MSKU-SS automatic process control system are to be installed at SIVAS Compressor Station. It is located on the Imranli-Kaizeri gas main which transmits gas from Iran to the countries of Western Europe.
The GTU-16P gas turbines are manufactured by Perm Engine Company since 1997. They are used as drives for gas compressor units. Their nominal capacity is 16.47 MW, turbine inlet temperature is 1416 K, compression ratio is 19.61 and efficiency is 37%.
