Elliot microturbines will be operated in Moscow
According to the contract signed by Elektrosistemy ten Elliot TA-100RCHP microturbines will be installed on the roof of a 23-storeyed residential building in Moscow...

The contractual works will be carried out by Moscow constructing company. Four similar microturbines will de installed in the Shopping Complex. Proekt-2 is the general designer.
TA-100RCHP is a cogeneration power plant, rated at 100kW (thermal capacity up to 172 kW), which is equipped with a fuel gas booster compressor. Its design peculiarity is the absence of reduction gear which is substituted by the power electronics manufactured by Densan (Japan) and the powerplant can be started up by generator. The microturbine is equipped with the Toyo (Japan) recuperator. The powerplants are designed for independent operation. Connection to the power grid is alternate.
Elliot Energy Systems Inc. is one of the world leading manufacturers of microturbine power units. Elektrosistemy (St. Petersburg) is its exclusive dealer in the Russian Federation and CSI countries.
The commissioning of the powerplants is planned for the fourth quarter of 2007.
