Intertechelectro will erect gas turbine powerplant at the Priobsky field (Rosneft)

The construction engineering company Intertechelectro (the assembly department of Interte-chelectro – New Generation) won the tender for a turn-key construction of the 315 MW powerplant for Yuganskneftegaz (the Rosneft subsidary) at the Priobsky field.

The gas turbine powerplant will be located on the left-bank part of the Priobsky field, 70 km away from Khanty-Mansijsk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area). The scope of the project includes installation of seven Siemens SGT-800 gensets each rated at 45 MW. They have AMS 1250 LF – 10,5 kW (ABB) generators equipped with the automatic process control system with Siemens Si-matic elements.
By the end of 2007 Intertechelectro plans to complete the design and exploration works. The construction of the powerplant is planned to be three-staged. The commissioning of the first package (three power blocks) is to be carried out in December 2008; the second package (two power blocks) – in December 2009; the third package (two power blocks) – in April 2010.
Gas turbine powerplant will run on casing head gas and provide electricity to Yuganskneftegas company at the Priobsky field. The powerplant can generate electricity in a parallel mode with Tyumen centralised power system.
